Baseball Cards Home

I began collecting baseball cards as a kid in the late 80’s, picking up a pack here or there at the grocery store, convenience store, gas station etc. while there with my parents. This continued through the early 90’s until I took a short break. I got back into collecting while in high school when a set-building relative gave my brother and I boxes upon boxes of the duplicates he did not want. I continued collecting through college, picking up packs, blasters and hobby boxes here and there. Once out of college, collecting baseball cards took a back seat to real life for awhile.

One day in late 2017 as I was cleaning and organizing my basement, my 4 year asked what was in all the white boxes behind the couch. We opened the boxes and flipped through some of my bigger cards together, explaining to my son what they were. Finally with some disposable income, I bought a hobby jumbo box of 2017 Topps Update and was instantly hooked again. That first year back in the hobby, I purchased and busted boxes of just about everything, without much focus. In the two years since, I’ve focused my collecting habits and have started to sell off much of what I break that doesn’t fit into my personal collection in order to fund new purchases. I’ve created this website to share my hobby with those interested in following.

Personal Baseball Cards Collection

Sample cards from personal collection

My personal baseball cards collection consists of a bit of everything, including sets, sealed wax, graded cards and raw cards. Everything from vintage to junk wax to modern; base cards to autographs to relic cards, but most of all, I enjoy collecting rookies. My current focus has been on rookies, Topps flagship complete sets, Roberto Clemente cards and Topps Flagship Pirates team sets. In addition to collecting baseball card singles and sets, a part of my collection consists of sealed boxes and packs. Considering how much I enjoy opening packs and boxes, its hard to keep to them sealed, and this part of my collection is not large.
